Mental health and physical health go hand-in-hand. So when it comes to living a happy and healthy life, a healthy mind is essential. The African American and Black community has long faced systemic discrimination and cultural barriers that may have prevented people from focusing on mental health.

Cigna and Yard Talk 101 have joined forces to break down and break through barriers to a stronger you. Join the Fit for You conversation to hear from celebrity guest Lance Gross, certified therapist Kier Gaines, Cigna behavioral health expert Dr. Lorrie Miller, along with Howard University student and Director of Campus Health Elizabeth Bolarinwa about actions you can take to improve your health, and learn about the resources available in your community.
If you are a Howard University student or employee join us anytime between 2:00 – 6:00PM at Cigna’s Health Improvement Tour bus located in front of Cramton Auditorium to get a free health screening to those 18 and older with no appointment necessary! Then, join us at 6:00PM to hear from Cigna representatives on the career opportunities and internships available before the live watch party at 7:00PM in Cramton Auditorium.
